Creative Commons has updated the licence and its next version Creative Commons 3.0 is just released. Creative Commons provides a platform for licensing your work – be it your writing works like articles/papers, photos, blogs and even webpages.
In short, it makes your online content bit safer than nothing. You have copyright of your material which is available to everyone :).
