OpenOffice.org 2.1 is out

If you are an open source fan and don’t like/can’t spend big bucks on purchasing costly office softwares or if you don’t like Microsoft (otherwise you would be using Microsoft Office 2007 RC), then you can try your hands on just released OpenOffice.org 2.1.

 

Lot of new features have been added to this open source software and hence they are recommending an essential upgrade to this version. Some of the shiny features include –

 

Multiple monitor support for Impress

The query designer got a few new keyboard shortcuts
