Just like SearchMash from Google, Microsoft has one parallel search engine – Ms. Dewey.
Ms. Dewey is the name of female character shown on the launching page which interact with you in real time…well it appears to be. The search page uses Adobe flash to interact and display results and presently the search results are shown in scrolling window.
Ms. Dewey appears to be an interactive search assistant who audibly comments on searched keywords in her own style and makes random actions when idle, including taking props from behind her desk. The responses actually consist of about 600 video clips recorded over a period of three days.
