Significance of Techcrunch Favorite Web 2.0 services

I was going through the Web 2.0 list of services posted over Techcrunch by Michael Arrington – 2007: Web 2.0 Companies I Couldn’t Live Without . Few services including very first three, which he has listed are specific to the region he is living in like free411.com, Amie Street, Ask City etc. If you view it from perspective of an Indian. And when he is expected to suggest some universal bookmarking service, he is suggesting Blue Dot which is of .us domain.

In the rest of the list, he appears to be paid for listing many of them like Netvibes, Pandora (although he mentioned that he likes AllOfMP3) including their sponsors – Zoho.

I wasn’t expecting such a list from this BIG blogging website.
