YouRep

YouRep, which stands for “you represent”, is a website on the verge of becoming a clone of Flickr but then there are lot of thing about flickr which we love and we know that they can’t be replicated at all and that’s what makes flickr an almost perfect Web 2.0 service.

One can easily see innovation at YouRep. They are providing unique earning opportunity by sharing 50% revenues with you. Then it is free plus they are providing whooping 2 GB of storage. It provides you ability to have 25% of your photos to be kept private. Concentrated on social networking and lot of other things which make it a Web 2.0 service which can compete with flickr. The biggest drawback which I found here was that there is no tool provided for uploading the photos! I got my Id (of course nitesh πŸ™‚ ) just when this website was launched and hoping for it to become better – when I can start using it at full swing. You can map your photos using Google-Maps and organize then using yOrganizer. If you go by his to-do list, you can easily figure out that this service is going to rock if it got developed to its full-fledged features.

It is started by a single developer named Florian Cervenka located in Austria.

And have I told you that you can download all your photos in form of single zip file (but then it can’t contain more than 20 photos at a time πŸ™ ). Too much to expect from you, Florian!
