1. Are you happy/satisfied with your blog, with its content and look?
Yes, absolutely. I write whatever I get to know which include not only my musing but also the tech stuff plus the happenings in the world around me. I like the look and feel of blog and feel very happy when I look at the graceful stats of my blog. I am really delighted that I haven’t wasted much space on my blog in terms of content and look.
2. Does your family know about your blog?
Yes my family knows about my blog.
3. Do you feel embarrassed to let your friends know about your blog or do you consider it a private thing?
Not at all. I always feel like sharing whatever I write and that can be anything. Well, I don’t keep roaming and asking people to open my blog but those, called friends, themselves find out my place and sometimes, let me feel good by saying few good words. I don’t consider my blog a private thing.
One disclosure that I would like to make is that I also maintain my private diary which contains very very sensitive info about me and which I have not shared with anyone so far. Definitely I would be sharing it with someone someday.
4. Did Blogs have a positive change in your thoughts?
Ye it has brought lot of bright changes in my life. My zeal to learn, share and apply has increased many-folds. I used to write about only my musings or stuff related to me only, in very start. Then I started sharing the things I like and aren’t related to me directly. I get encourage from the feedbacks of readers and it motivates me to write better stuff.
That was about my personal blog. Blogs of others make me know about the innovations, lifestyles, personal experiences and the thing which I could never expect to know without reading them. In short, they widen my view and always give me something to learn. They have played a BIG role in changing my attitude towards life.
5. Do you only open the blogs of those who comment on your blog or do you love to go and discover new blogs for yourself?
I never care about who comments or not. Definitely I open blogs of those who comment on my blog but then, they aren’t many. I love to discover more and more new and innovative blogs, read them and share them with friends.
6. What does the visitor counter mean to you? do you care about putting it on your blog?
It is more than just a counter for me but not a very important thing. I come to know about stats of my blog and the ways, visitors landed on my page. So it plays important role in understanding the way stuff is organized on my blog and the way it is liked by others.
7. Do you try to imagine your fellow bloggers and give them real pictures?
I rarely met someone of my fellow bloggers but according to me, in virtual world, that doesn’t matter. All matter is how you share your things and feelings with others and how well they understand you. We may pass-out someday without meeting most of them but then, we will always be there in their memories.
8. Do you think there is a real benefit to blogging?
Yes. Full stop. Lot of it said above.
9. Do you think that bloggers society is isolated from the real world or interacts with events?
No. If it had been isolated from real world, managers and techies hadn’t been blogging while going through public interaction with their colleagues and friends at their full-time jobs. If they had been isolated from real world, there wasn’t going to be any term like Personal Blogging which is about sharing your day-to-day happenings and there are examples where people linked through big networks about sharing and commenting on their daily routine happenings.
10. Does criticism annoy you or do you feel it is a normal thing?
I love healthy and informative criticism which is progressive towards positive & constructive outcomes.
11. Do you fear some political blogs and do you avoid them?
No. Although I am not the one with lot of interest in politics but even then, I read political blogs to keep myself updated. I have one of my seniors writing regularly on Indian political scenario and I read it now and them.
12. Did you get shocked by the arrest of some bloggers?
I believe in freedom of expression and completely against the arrest of bloggers for same reasons. Of course, if someone gets arrested in that regard, it is not less than a shock to me. Just imagine if Michael Arrington gets arrested for sharing info about capturing YouTube videos for your iPod after he receives legal notice from YouTube.
13. Do you think about what will happen to your blog after you die?
Perhaps. Yes, sometimes but I have faced this thing in Feb this year when I was just about to leave this world. So I don’t pay second thought to tomorrow. Let us make our today better than yesterday and tomorrow. Past is history. Future…at least you have 2–3 friends in your life who will always care about your things more than you ever did. So, never take tension ;M).
14. Which blogger has made the greatest impression on you?
None of personal life blogs although I wished. TechCrunch and Lifehacker are in the list. I wanted someone from my buddy-list to join me in blogging space but none did – because I know that my friends will always have impression if they started sharing their thoughts.
15. Which blogger you think is most similar to you?
None and I am saying it with full confidence. I have 50+ categories to organize my stuff which is related to all hell lot of things of this universe including my personal life as well as the latest tech throbs. I have come across blogs which I felt like my blog but then, my blog is the best which always proved to be their super-set. Tell me any blog which writes about news (journalism), country and at the same time, the tech things and personal stuff are included in it. My blog is unique. But still I am searching for one like mine.
