RC1 for Firefox 2 is released

Finally after wait for looooong months, RC1 for Firefox 2 (claimed to be next-gen browser) is out. Although the Firefox 2 release has been postponed by more than couple of weeks from the original target of mid-August but as is claimed by Mozilla, RC1 is very much similar to the looks and functionality of final product but still users should not expect all of their extensions, plugins and themes from previous versions of Firefox to work properly. Among key changes, close button as been added for each tab (tab mix plus extension), the form data is restored after a crashed session is restored (session manager extension) and inline spell checking (no more need for installing google extension for spell-check purpose).

Better to give a try, provided it doesn’t crash on extra-load as used to happen in beta. It can be downloaded from RC Downloads page.
