I have found that average age of my any machine (laptop/pc) is 4 years and therefore I will be needing a replacement for my machine around 2007. It will have following minimum configuration –
- Intel Pentium Quad Core (> 4Ghz)
- 5 GB DDR3 RAM
- 500 GB SATA III HDD
- Creative Sound Blaster with 116dB SNR with Creative Multi-Speaker Surround, 64MB of on-board X-RAM and remote
- ATI Mobility Radeon with 1GB dedicated memory PCI Express 2
- BluRay (BD)/HD-DVD Combo Drive
- Windows Vista SP2 (hopefully it would had come by that time!)
