…with my comments because I do many of them 🙂
- Ÿ Have a firm handshake. (I do)
- Ÿ Look people in the eye. (I look but some people are too keen to look into eyes only :|)
- Ÿ Sing in the shower. (Ask my roomies…they always feel tortured 8))
- Ÿ Own a great stereo system. (I always have. I love muzic 8M))
- Ÿ If in a fight, hit first and hit hard. (It was only once and I had made it to the best :Mx)
- Ÿ Never give up on anybody. Miracles happen everyday. (I could never realize…what does it mean :M? but I was always there when they needed me :_PD)
- Ÿ Always accept an outstretched hand. (For me anything works…be it overstretched or soft :_P))
- Ÿ Be brave. Even if you’re not, pretend to be. No one can tell the difference. (he he he :MD)
- Ÿ Whistle. (I do it very hard :lol:)
- Ÿ Avoid sarcastic remarks. (No one dares in front of me :M) otherwise I ignore ;M))
- Ÿ Choose your life’s mate carefully. From this one decision will come 90 per cent of all your happiness or misery. (That’s why…till now…I am…searching/deciding… :M?)
- Ÿ Make it a habit to do nice things for people who will never find out. (and forget what you did – as I do most of the times)
- Ÿ Lend only those books you never care to see again. (But I never had more than 2-3 books with me after my graduation :roll:)
- Ÿ Never deprive someone of hope; it might be all that they have. (I did it only once in 23 years and till date I am feeling sorry :_P()
- Ÿ When playing games with children, let them win. (and see the joy floating over their faces :_Plol:)
- Ÿ Give people a second chance, but not a third. (sometimes it depends on type of person…I have seen people changing after giving them as many as 5 chances :Mo)
- Ÿ Be romantic. (or does it mean, keep flirting? :MP)
- Ÿ Become the most positive and enthusiastic person you know. (I am much more enthusiastic than him 8M))
- Ÿ Loosen up. Relax. Except for rare life-and-death matters, nothing is as important as it first seems. (so true…in my case. And if someone need you in that rare case, never disappoint that one. Leave everything for that rare time :pacman:)
- Ÿ Don’t allow the phone to interrupt important moments. It’s there for your convenience, not the caller’s. (but it does :noshake:)
- Ÿ Be a good loser. (I want to but I always emerge as a winner :MD)
- Ÿ Be a good winner (You can ask people who have been competing with me)
- Ÿ Wave at the children on a school bus. (I come out of home at 1000 when there is no bus 🙁 )
- Ÿ When someone hugs you, let them be the first to let go. (I didn’t know but perhaps I was doing it :shiftyeyes:)
- Ÿ Be modest. A lot was accomplished before you were born. (I follow that but still I’ll say, I am going to start lot of new things :cuckoo:)
- Ÿ Keep it simple. (If it gets complex, put enough comments in your code as I do ;M))
- Ÿ Beware of the person who has nothing to lose. (I am one of them…specially when it is my 3rd birth :!:)
- Ÿ Don’t burn bridges. You’ll be surprised how many times you have to cross the same river. (hmmm… :|)
- Ÿ Live your life so that your epitaph could read, No Regrets (And I thought that it will read – you were the best :Mo)
- Ÿ Be bold and courageous. When you look back on life, you’ll regret the things you didn’t do more than the one’s you did. (Perhaps I would regret in this case…for somethings at least which I feel are wrong 😉 :ban:)
- Ÿ Remember no one makes it alone. Have a grateful heart and be quick to acknowledge those who helped you. (it is always a team behind the success of a woman or a woman behind the success of a man :MD)
- Ÿ Take charge of your attitude. Don’t let someone else choose it for you. (I have attitude, therefore I am :_Pmgreen:)
- Ÿ Visit friends and relatives when they are in hospital; you need only stay a few minutes. (I had taken most daring step of my life in this case :pill:)
- Ÿ Begin each day with some of your favorite music. (It is ETC/V/MTV/B4U – one after other. Previously it used to be winamp :coffee:)
- Ÿ Once in a while, take the scenic route. (I take it every night after meal :P)
- Ÿ Send a lot of Valentine cards. Sign them, ‘Someone who thinks you’re terrific.’ (That is excellent idea for someone searching. Surely…I am going to try this time. I hope no girl of my office reads my blog :alert:)
- Ÿ Answer the phone with enthusiasm and energy in your voice. (I do! :_oogle:)
- Ÿ Keep a note pad and pencil on your bed-side table. Million-dollar ideas sometimes strike at 3 a.m. (And I am usually awake at that time :arrow:)
- Ÿ Show respect for everyone who works for a living, regardless of how trivial their job. (Never think what job one is doing :beer: :satansmoking:)
- Ÿ Send your loved ones flowers. Think of a reason later. (and you always get surprizes in return 8O)
- Ÿ Make someone’s day by paying the toll for the person in the car behind you. (Let us do it sometime while going to watch movie in PVR :_P))
- Ÿ Become someone’s hero. (Someone had shouted that I am supposed to be a legend and that I am that one’s ideal…It was SSB, Allahabad when everyone was waiting for final call in hall 8M))
- Ÿ Marry only for love. (and you will get what you wanted ;M))
- Ÿ Count your blessings. (but I never do. Am I supposed to do that? :shake:)
- Ÿ Compliment the meal when you’re a guest in someone’s home. (Just compliment? Thank and praise it :!:)
- Ÿ Remember that 80 per cent of the success in any job is based on you ability to deal with people. (I could had never realized it without leaving my 1st org and making daring moves in second one :_Po)
- Ÿ Never waste an opportunity to tell someone you love them. (It always feels wonderful 😮 – go and see dictionary meaning of wonderful)
- Ÿ Don’t expect life to be fair. (sometimes it ditches you like it was your worst enemy but then you find someone dearest holding your hand :M))
