Sachin in but Kumble out—and a bill is coming for RTI ammendments

So Sachin is joining team for Srilanka tour but it is bad to see Kuble missed out.

Have been loving Kumble’s bowling for more than a decade, specially in ODIs where he has capability to turn the game, specially on the pitches of South Asian and African pitches.

After news went hot about filing RTIs against UPA govt’s decision of blocking blogs, there comes other experiment from this *** govt –

RTI Act Amendment Bill to be introduced

A Bill to remove certain ‘ambiguities’ in the Right to Information Act 2005 to make it more effective and progressive will be introduced in the ensuing session of Parliament.

A meeting of the Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has approved introduction of the Bill to amend the RTI Act, Information and Broadcasting Minister Priyaranjan Dasmunsi told reporters today. (has our respec*** PM ever disapproved or even said anything about suggestions of cabinet?)

He said there were ‘certain ambiguities’ in the act (which were, perhaps, told by Mr. Dasmunsi, who recently returned after his visit/summer holidays in US & UK) and file notings in a “few areas” could be exempted.

Giving an example, he said the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has expressed its concern over giving out information on the file notings.

Decisions could be conveyed but not in terms of the details as to how the decisions were arrived at, he said.

Dasmunsi said such exemptions were granted in the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia (so the effect of visits is clear…but will ever our ministers dare to think ahead of US, UK or AUS???…sometimes I think why not we bring better ppl in govt or do we get such choices?).

Acc to Jaswant Singh’s latest book, Mr. L. K. Advani and Arun Shori were only 2 ministers during NDA govt period who opposed decision of releasing terrorist in exchange of hijacked hostages in Dec 1999.
